If your goods fill most of a container, a full container (FCL) is usually cheaper and simpler. For smaller volumes, LCL lets you pay only for the cubic metres your cargo occupies, with extra consolidation and devanning steps.

Where possible we price both so you compare the total cost to Germany, not just the freight.

Main container ports in Germany include Hamburg, Bremerhaven. The right port of arrival depends on the delivery city and the services available at booking.

In the EU many products need CE marking and conformity documents, importers usually need an EORI number, and VAT rules apply to e-commerce parcels (such as the IOSS scheme). The UK, Switzerland and Norway have separate systems.
