Air freight from Yiwu, China to South Africa

• Urgent orders that cannot wait for sea transit.
• Light or high-value goods relative to weight.
• Samples before a large order.
• Fast restocking of fast-selling products.

Note: air freight is charged on actual or volumetric weight, whichever is greater, so large light cartons can cost more than expected.

Cities with major cargo airports in South Africa include Johannesburg. We confirm the arrival airport available for your shipment in the quote.

Batteries and products containing them, liquids, perfumes, aerosols, strong magnets and powders are restricted by air. Always mention them when requesting a quote so we can confirm or suggest an alternative.

In South Africa many electrical products need approval from the national regulator before sale. Several African countries run pre-shipment inspection and certificate-of-conformity programmes for some goods, and document requirements differ between countries. We confirm with you what the destination requires before preparing the shipment.

This is general guidance and may change. Confirm current requirements with the authorities or a customs broker in your country.

• Type and description of the goods
• Approximate total weight
• Carton dimensions or total volume (CBM)
• Number of cartons or pieces
• Destination city and country
• Whether you need clearance and delivery, or shipping to the port/airport only

The quote scope depends on the agreement and destination: it may cover shipping to the arrival port or airport only, shipping with customs clearance, or delivery to your address where available. Every written quote states exactly what is included and who pays customs duties and taxes in the destination country.
