Seasonal products from Yiwu: Ramadan, holidays and back to school
Yiwu is a major source of seasonal products worldwide. The key is timing: order late and the goods may arrive after the season.
Examples of key seasons
- Ramadan and Eid decorations and gifts.
- Back to school: stationery and bags.
- Summer products: beach items and small fans.
- New Year decorations for some markets.
How to work out timing
Add production time in China + shipping + clearance + distribution in your country, then add a buffer. Remember Chinese New Year stops production for weeks.
FAQ
When should I order Ramadan goods from Yiwu?
Work backwards from your selling date, adding production, shipping, clearance and a safety margin, and start as early as possible.
