Where to find each product category in Yiwu markets

General layout

Each district of International Trade City focuses on families of products: for example toys and artificial flowers in the early districts, hardware and electrical items in others, and textiles, socks and daily goods in later districts. Layouts change as shops move, so treat any map as a guide, not a fixed rule.

Planning your route

• Group your product list by district before you go.
• Spend the first visit comparing, not ordering.
• Compare at least three shops in the same area for each product.
• Record shop number, contact and photo for every item.

Markets outside the main buildings

Yiwu also has specialised streets and markets, for example for furniture, packaging materials and printing, and a large production base in the surrounding towns.

Common mistakes

• Spending the whole day in one district.
• Not noting the shop number with the photo.
• Relying on a display sample without asking about consistency in bulk.
