Jordan
The Food and Drug Administration oversees food, medicines and cosmetics; the standards institution oversees conformity of many goods; the telecom regulator approves wireless devices. Certificates of origin, invoices and packing lists are usual, plus product-specific documents.
Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia uses the SABER platform for conformity of many products, and the food and drug authority oversees food, cosmetics and medical devices. Conformity certificates are issued via accredited bodies.
United Arab Emirates
Conformity schemes apply to some products, and authorities oversee food and cosmetics, with clear labelling requirements.
Iraq
Many goods need a certificate of conformity issued via accredited inspection companies before shipping, plus commercial documents.
Egypt
For some product categories Egypt requires the exporting factory to be registered before import, in addition to food and cosmetics controls.
Russia and Kazakhstan (Eurasian Economic Union)
EAEU technical regulations apply, and many products carry the EAC mark after a certificate or declaration of conformity issued via accredited bodies in the union.
